one of my favourite things is seeing people carrying flowers around in public.
where are they going? who are the flowers for? is it their mums birthday? did someone move house?
who knows!! not me!!!

Never apologize for how you feel. No one can control how they feel. The sun doesn’t apologize for being the sun. The rain doesn’t say sorry for falling. Feelings just are.

I tried to scroll past this. I really did
I feel like minor acts of kindness and good intentions are really important on days like this.
People may not tell you how they feel about you, but they always show you. Pay attention.

The real test of friendship is: can you literally do nothing with the other person? Can you enjoy those moments of life that are utterly simple?
September came and brought a dream;
a dream composed beyond the earthly,
where the air is calm and
silent enough
to hush hearts
and lull minds
full of noise,
disruptive to the melody
of the universe’s eternally playing song
which is all too difficult to hear
in the cacophony of
daily life’s rut.
September came and brought a dream;
a transcendental plane of purity
called into existence to
accommodate
the soul,
pulsating in restless seeking,
longing, needing;
craving
connection with this identical energy
resonating on the exact
same frequency,
so much
that it would leave the body
and orchestrate a celestial rendezvous
to speak, to touch, to heal, and
reaffirm the bond unaffected
by time and space’s
limitations.
September came and brought a dream
which revealed a truth so painful
that only the greatest lie
could reinstate
peace
within this
inescapable realm
of physical reality, and restore balance
to the status quo established to
tranquilize the tangible self:
True love’s denial.
Empty words, reaffirmed and
equally agreed upon to
cast all light into
the void;
to escape this incessant illumination,
burning; insufferably revealing
the shades cast by the
soul’s obstinate
vessel.
Empty words were spoken and caused
the stars to dim for a moment
as the watchful eyes
of a thousand lifetimes spent in love
and countless more to come
wept in unison.
September came and brought a dream
that put an end to these dreams
causing friction between
the temporary and
the eternal.
So
it
had
to
be.
October came
and went by in quietude.
November came
and went by in peace.
December came and went by similarly.
Time went by to teach that quietude is
worthless if it consists of hushed
voices that so wish
to speak,
and that peace
created by unheeding
the disturbances of veracity
offers no tranquility.
We tossed our light in the void thinking
it would be unable to escape the
vacuum of a black hole,
but our energy;
the shapeless, unadulterated
core of our being,
still resonated
on that unique frequency
which we have shared, and will share
throughout eternity.
We sought to extinguish the source of
disturbance, only to find that we
extinguished ourselves
in the process.
We found that we are the source,
perpetually seeking to be
unadulterated;
seeking
to be
stripped down to the very core of being;
aching to consist of love, solely,
using as many lifetimes
as it needs to be
love, solely.
As such January came as an inevitability,
and so the amplification of our
eternal energies
radiated
to orchestrate a celestial rendezvous
to speak, to touch, to heal, and
reaffirm our bond, unaffected
by time and space’s
limitations.
Unaffected by the words
purposefully uttered to nullify its existence.
January came in the absence of apologies
as we once more simply revelled in
each other’s presence.
January came and brought another dream;
a transcendental plane of purity
in which we existed
as
love,
solely;
where in each other’s arms we found the
truth, quietude, peace, and tranquility,
that allowed for satisfied souls
to solemnly whisper:
this is destiny.
